FACILITY FAQ

Have the facility hours been changed?

– Yes

– Monday-Friday 5am-8pm

– Saturday 7am-7pm

– Sunday 10am-7pm

Will there be a capacity restriction?

Yes, per the Governor’s mandate we are allowed to re-open at a 25% occupancy.

Will price be discounted since the facility is only allowed 25% of occupancy and with limited amenities?

– No, membership dues will not be discounted.

Will May dues be charged?

– No, normal billing will resume June 1, 2020.

Will the KidZone be open?

– No, the KidZone will not be open during the first phase of re-opening.

Are gloves and masks required?

-Gloves & Masks are highly recommended but not required.

Will gloves or masks be provided by VERDURE?

– No, members will be responsible for bringing gloves and masks to the facility.

Are the locker rooms open?

– No, per the Governor’s mandate locker rooms are to be closed during the first phase of re-opening.

Will the basketball court be open?

– Yes, however, there will be no pickup games. 4 individuals will be allowed to shoot around on each goal.

Will there be group exercise classes?

– No, during the first phase of re-opening we will not have group exercise classes. We will have a limited class schedule on June 1.

Will I be able to access the COVE from the main facility?

– No, the main locker rooms will be closed off. To access the COVE, members and guests will need to enter through the COVE entrance.

Will there be summer camps available?

– At this time we are working closely with the state to offer summer camps this year. Continue to check our website and social media for updates.

Will the Gun Range be open?

-The Range will be closed during the first phase.

COVE FAQ

What will the COVE hours be?

– Monday- Thursday 11am-8pm

– Friday-Saturday 10am-9pm

– Sunday 11am-7pm

What are the lap pool hours?

The lap pool will have the same hours as the COVE to keep the occupancy separate from the main facility.

Will members be able to rent cabanas?

– Yes, cabanas can be rented out to families living in the same household. This is per the Governor’s mandate of social distancing.

Will the showers be available at the COVE?

– The showers inside the COVE restrooms will be closed. The showers outside on the East side of the COVE restrooms will be available. 

Can COVID be spread in the pool?

– Per the CDC “There is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools, hot tubs, spas, or water play areas. Proper operation and maintenance (including disinfection with chlorine or bromine) of these facilities should inactivate the virus in the water”.

Will the lounge chairs be allowed to moved?

– No, per the Governor’s mandate for social distancing. The lounge chairs are placed approximately 6ft apart by twos.

Will I be able to access the COVE from the main facility?

– No, the main locker rooms will be closed off. To access the COVE, members and guests will need to enter through the COVE entrance.
